Also, transporting raw foods and multiplying it on site is much better than transporting cooked meals, if you have to keep another district alive. I only use distribution to get variety of foods everywhere from a food district, sustenance is on each district for itself. Should I be making multiple trade routes for the same item to increase throughput? should I add even more distribution posts? I have this issue with every product I want to distribute and I feel like I am always fighting it and waiting on goods to be delivered regardless of my capacity. I can see all my beavers running around so from what I can tell they're all working on those delivery routes. But, it seems like even with two fully labored distribution posts, ie 16 beavers, whose only responsibility is to ship grilled spadderdock, barely any seems to actually move out into the other districts and I end up with thousands of Spadderdock sitting in the spadderdock district. So I find myself frequently setting up a small Spadderdock district whose sole responsibility is to ship grilled spadderdock out to the main and other districts. Grilled Spadderdock is a good example - very easy to make a lot of this stuff, way more than one district could possibly need. One problem I am consistently running into is that I feel like I can't ship goods fast enough.

You can use distribution posts to ferry resources between your districts: This is still considered "self sufficient" and is necessary for some tiers which initially lack water, food, or wood. "Self sufficient" means the beavers must be able to survive droughts off their own stores. "Thriving" merely denotes beavers with at least two types of food, water, and at least one leisure activity. You can have no other routes between districts. The only routes between each district must meet at the check points marked by two barrier blocks. You can only migrate beavers forwards by a district once per day. If any of your districts die out, you need to migrate all beavers ahead of them back to that district. You can only move on to the next district once all the districts before them are self sufficient. They are marked by 12 barrier blocks that surround where the district must be placed. There is one per terrain height (Plus start and finish).

You can only place districts in the designated slots. Post with cycle, day, and time when you managed to fill every district slot with a thriving settlement. And down the stretch they come, it looks like it's going to be a photo finish between the two front runners.Ĭhallenge: Abide by the rules of the race and see if you can win. Guimer in the middle of the race with Ma'Gonagal close behind and it looks like Ol' Kazo is followed by Japper running hard a few heads away with Kee Lumping coming up from the outside putting on pressure.
